Skills and Knowledge Progression
These documents map out the skills and knowledge that our pupils will be taught on their learning journeys to ensure they are ready for their next steps in life. The skills taught build upon past skills and progress in complexity as the children grow and develop. It is our intention that the children will be provided with the opportunity to apply these skills across the wider currinulum and in a range of different contexts.
These documents should be views alongside our Knowledge Organisers and our Topic Organisers in the class Area of our currciulum pages.
The Topic Overviews are intended to reflect the sequence of learning for a topic, alongside key curriculum coverage, focus areas, key questions, enrichment, extension oportunities and cross currlicular links.
The Knowledge Organisers are child friendly documents which are intended to signpost the key things we want our children to know - key vocabulary, key facts, key questions and ideas for homelearning along with ideas for possible family visits which could support a topic.
