Federation of Hindlip and Tibberton CE First Schools

Governing Body details

Chair of Governors  and Safeguarding Lead              Andrew Clarke

Vice Chair of Governors                                             Avinash Parmar

Our Governors all come with a varied and broad range of skills and backgrounds but all share a common interest in providing a safe, stimulating and caring environment at Hindlip and Tibberton to enable all children to achieve their full potential.

School Council and Governors

The School Council met with our Chair and Deputy Chair of Governors to talk about what they do and to find out what our Governors do. They were very proud to share all the things they do to and asked our Governors some brilliant questions.

Our full Governing Body normally meets four times a year to discuss whole school issues and overall progress. Specific responsibilities are delegated to two Committees (Finance, and Teaching & Learning) which meet every term. Individual governors also carry out visits in school for a number of reasons including Health & Safety, Safeguarding, SEN and Looked After Children, PE Funding and specific areas of focus identified for each year.

Governors are appointed for four years.

Details of individual governors and their responsibilities are set out below:
