Our School Ethos: Achieve, Believe, Care

Our School is one of the family of Church of England Schools in the Diocese.

Our school ethos is ‘Achieve, Believe, Care.’

Developed with our whole community this reflects our strong Christian ethos and is used to inform all areas of school life.

This vision is underpinned by the Chrisitian values of perseverance, respect, love, friendship, courage and truthfulness. These values are explored through daily school life, worship and opportunities for reflection.

It is vital to fostering the ‘family’ atmosphere of our school where every child is supported to achieve their very best in every way possible.

The absolute value of each and every child drive our determination that every child has;

the right to feel safe and be safe, the right to learn, and the right to be treated with respect.

‘There are two things we should give our children:one is roots to growandthe other is wings to fly.’ Hodding Carter

This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
